General

Who can Play Pupcup?+
Anyone who can add 10, 20, and 30s together and subtract 5s and 10s. Some content may not be suitable for kids under 13.
How many people can play?+
Best with 4–6 players. Adjust the total score goal for larger groups.
How long does the game take?+
Multiple rounds, 10–15 minutes for small groups, 15–30 for larger groups.
How do you win?+
First to reach 100 points (or your group's goal). Recommended: 2–3 players: 150–200pts, 4–6 players: 100pts, 7+ players: 80pts.

Rules

Why play a Rule card?+
They get people laughing. Rules cause players to bark, restrict words, or limit actions.
When can you play a Rule?+
Instead of a point or steal card. Announce it aloud and place it in front of you.
Can you get penalized for breaking a rule while reading it aloud?+
Yes.
Who has to follow the rules?+
All players except: (1) you're exempt from your own rules, (2) Shield card holders are exempt from all rules.
When does the rule take effect?+
As soon as the player reads it aloud and puts it down.

Penalty Cards

What are Penalty cards?+
Drawn when you break a rule and get caught. Mostly -5pt cards, some -10pt, one -20pt.
What do I do with Penalty cards?+
Place face up in front of you. Discard matching point cards that cancel out.

Steal Cards

What are Steal cards?+
Take one face-up card from any player, or a random card from their hand.
What can I steal?+
Point cards, Rules, Shield, or anything in their hand.

Blocks

When do you play a Block card?+
Only out of turn, when someone plays a Steal against you.
Can you block another block?+
Yes, blocks can be chained.
